Had a quick day trip to see Glasgow yesterday, not a huge amount of time to look around, but walked around the city centre taking in George Square and the City Chambers Building:
But the real reason for going to Glasgow was football, thanks to some free tickets from my friend, an Azerbaijani student, we were going to watch Celtic V. Qarabag
Despite Qarabag battling hard, Celtic did grab a winner in the last 10 minutes to lead 1-0 ahead of the 2nd leg in Azerbaijan next week, not sure il make it to that match though.
Heres the highstreet in glasgow, which was soon deserted of a night time, as we walked back to get the bus back to Edinburgh.
